Bold Text Generator
Make bold text for places that don't allow formatting, like Instagram bios, LinkedIn posts and comments.
Using bold text on social media
Most social apps don't offer bold formatting. This tool replaces each letter with its Unicode mathematical bold version, which looks bold anywhere you paste it, including Instagram bios, LinkedIn posts, X and YouTube comments.
Use it for a headline or a short emphasis, not entire paragraphs. Bold Unicode letters can be skipped by screen readers and aren't matched by in-app search, so keep hashtags, names and key details in normal text.
How it works
These aren't real fonts. Each style swaps your letters for look-alike Unicode characters, which is why they keep their look when you paste them into a bio or caption.
Screen readers may read these characters oddly, so use plain text for anything important.

Questions
Will fancy fonts work on Instagram?
Yes. They're Unicode characters, so they work in bios, captions and comments. A few rare styles may show as boxes on older phones.
Why do some letters not change?
Unicode doesn't include every letter in every style. Missing ones stay as normal letters.
